Mark Eberlein

Hi, my name is Mark Eberlein & I'm originally from New Zealand, now living in the beautiful Isles of Scilly 28 miles off the coast of Cornwall in the UK on the smallest island, St Agnes.
I've lived on St Agnes for over 22 years and work from my little art studio in our Island hall (an upgrade from my little shed in the garden). I get my inspiration from the landscapes of these beautiful islands, I love all things nautical, fish and underwater creatures. I also like to explore the beaches looking for driftwood, which I use in my art. (that’s if my wife doesn’t take it first for her art)
I've always been a fan of tattoos & even have a few myself, my work is pyrography (wood burning) which I think is like a tattoo just on wood instead of skin, I work with plywood, driftwood, cheeseboards, framed pictures, and also leather.
All my works are done by me by hand (you won’t find any laser cutters/printers here) so if you fancy a tattoo without the pain these are perfect for you.
I also make lino prints of various designs & styles & I do a bit of leather work making keyrings & luggage tags.
My work is for sale in Pot Buoys Gallery on St Agnes in the Isles of Scilly owned & run by my very talented artist wife Emma Eberlein.
